   Bloomfield Hills powered past Utica Eisenhower 20-4 to win the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1, Region 3 girls lacrosse championship on Friday, June 4, at Troy.

   The Black Hawks led 12-2 at halftime.

   Junior Melissa Macaj led the Black Hawks with seven goals. Senior Ella Draving scored six goals. Senior Amelia McCourt had three goals. Junior Caroline Griffin, junior Abby Sung, junior Abby Sung, and junior

Courtney Atkinson added goals.

   Freshman Sydney Butler earned the victory in goal.

   Bloomfield Hills advances to face Brighton in the semifinals on Wednesday, June 9, at Brighton.

   The Black Hawks have outscored playoff opponents 68-11 with wins over Birmingham United (16-4), Troy Athens (17-3), and Grosse Pointe North (15-0).
